Wedding transport can help you make a grand arrival at the wedding ceremony, which is a must for any wedding. Arriving in style is all part of the fun of getting married. Wedding cars (or other forms of transport such as horse and carriage) play a big role; these are not a necessity but an affordable luxury that can alleviate some of the worry of getting to the church on time. The minimum requirement for your wedding day transport is that the bridal party arrive safely, on time, clean and without unsightly creases to the clothing. The type of transport you choose will depend on how formal you want to be, how far you have to travel, the time of year and of course your budget. For the traditional formal wedding, it is customary to hire a chauffeur- driven car such as a limousine, or vintage car. For the ultimate in luxury and style arrive in a stretch limo. Some can take up to ten passenger, some have a bar with champagne, and are spacious and comfortable. If you want charm and character, go for the vintage models, they do look great in wedding photos. When selecting a car just keep in mind that if you are wearing a very full dress and veil you will need a large and roomy car to avoid crushing the gown and veil. If your budget won’t allow you to hire a car, ask your family and friends who may have suitable cars for you to use as your wedding transport for your big day. If the cars are washed and polished and decorated you can still make an impressive entrance.
