Wedding cars (or other forms of transport such as horse and carriage) play a big role; these are not a necessity but an affordable luxury that can alleviate some of the worry of getting to the church on time.

The type of transport you choose will depend on how formal you want to be, how far you have to travel, the time of year and of course your budget.

When selecting a car just keep in mind that if you are wearing a very full dress and veil you will need a large and roomy car to avoid crushing the gown and veil.

If your budget won’t allow you to hire a car, ask your family and friends who may have suitable cars for you to use as your wedding transport for your big day. If the cars are washed and polished and decorated you can still make an impressive entrance.
