Wedding Day Transport Requirements

For your wedding day transport requirements you will certainly need one car to take the you (the bride) and your father from home to the ceremony. The same car will then take you and your new husband to the reception. A second car will take your bridesmaids, flower girls and page boy to the ceremony. The bride’s mother can travel with the bridesmaids if there is room. Usually the best man drives the groom to the ceremony, and then uses his own car to get to the reception. It is also the best man’s duty to make sure that the car is available at the end of the reception for the couple. You can use the hire car for this but of course it will cost more. Sit down with pen and paper and work out the wedding transport you require for the entire bridal party and any important visiting guests. Then book the cars accordingly. If you have arranged taxis for your visiting guests, such as relatives who are staying at a local hotel, let them know what arrangements you have made.
