How to make the
snowflake mini guest book – wedding table numbers
Measure and
Score Paper
Cut a piece of
heavy
white paper
15 cm x 64 cm (6 inch x 25 inch). Along the 64cm (25inch) length
lightly mark 12.8cm (5inch) intervals at the top and bottom of the
paper.
Align a ruler on the marked intervals and slide the closed tip of your
scissors (or the tip of a bone folder tool) along the ruler’s
edge to score a folding line.
Repeat for the other marked points. Erase the pencil marks when
finished.
Fold the White
Paper
After you have
scored
the paper, fold it accordion style. Run our finger up and down the
folds to give a crisp crease.
Cut and Glue
Paper
Cut out a piece
of
colored paper 12.8cm x 15cm (5inch x 6inch) and glue this to the front
of the guest book.
Secure Ribbon
Attach the 66cm
(26inch) ribbon to the guest book by folding it in half.
Position the center point of the ribbon along the left edge of the book
to ensure that there is an equal amount of ribbon along the front and
back of the book.
On the front of the book find the center point and fold back the ribbon
here and secure in place with a small amount of glue.
Don’t glue the ribbon at the back of the book because you will not be
able to open it.
Attach Star
Cut and glue a
white
star to the front of the card over the ribbon.
Attach the table
number
Cut out the
table
number in a dark blue paper and glue to the center of the star.
Finish
Finish by making
a bow
at the side of the card.
