The Wedding Gown Backline

Your gown backline should look stunning as your wedding guests will see your back when you walk down the aisle and when having your first dance.

When making your back line choice, it would be wise to take into consideration the type of veil you would like to wear, it will need to compliment the gown backline and not detract from it.

It gives little coverage and support in the back.

The backless back line is common with the halter dress.

If you choose this style, your back should be clear and blemish free and with good muscle tone.

A cut out section of the dress exposes a section of the skin without showing the whole back.

The scoop back line is similar to the scoop neckline, fabric drapes across the back in a graceful curve.

If your hair is long wear it up and choose a shorter style veil.

This is an elegant look, where two panels of fabric overlap at the waist and come up to the shoulders.

Similar to the front of this pictured dress.

Wedding Tip
#2

If you are on a tight budget use lots of greenery.

Greenery is inexpenvise and will make a great filler and you will use less flowers.

Try using potted plants and shrubs such a ficus trees which can be rented.

You may even have your own fake trees at home, or you could borrow from friends and family.

These will look charming when lit with tiny lights.
