Double Strand Bracelet

Double-stranded bracelet This intricate double strand bracelet appears to be complicated to bead, but it is not. Each of the center groups of beads is strung onto two wires, the side beads are strung onto a single wire.

The simple pattern repeats for the length of the bracelet. Both the seed beads and the “E” beads compliment the center beads.

The length of the center bead will determine how wide the bracelet will be because the beads are strung sideways.

For a stunning bridal bracelet make this in crystal beads.

Materials

Double-stranded bracelet Spacer beads gold

Seed beads green

Seed beads (“E” size) green (The “E” bead is slightly larger than the seed beads)

Emerald 12 x 6mm (1/2 x 1/4 inch) glass tube beads

1 x Green 8mm (1/2 inch) round bead

140cm (54 inch) of 32 gauge beading wire

How to make the Double Strand Bracelet

Double-stranded bracelet

1. Fold a 140cm (54 inch) length of beading wire in half. String on twenty one green seed beads onto one end of the wire and slide down to the center of the wire. Thread both the wire ends through a gold spacer bead, this will cap the loop portion of the clasp. An 8mm (¼ inch) bead should fit through this loop. If this loop is not large enough remove the gold bead and add or remove the seed beads to get the correct loop size then replace the gold bead.

Wedding Tip
#2

If you are on a tight budget use lots of greenery.

Greenery is inexpenvise and will make a great filler and you will use less flowers.

Try using potted plants and shrubs such a ficus trees which can be rented.

You may even have your own fake trees at home, or you could borrow from friends and family.

These will look charming when lit with tiny lights.
