Your Bridal Entrance

For a good bridal entrance at the ceremony, the bride will need to be confident and sure of herself.

Wearing your stunning wedding gown will get you noticed when you make your entrance, but it is the way that you hold yourself, that will truly make you a beautiful bride.

When arriving at the ceremony, try to exit the car gracefully, by straightening your gown before the car door opens.

When the door opens, swing both your legs out at the same time. Then stand up. Don’t get out holding onto everything. If you are wearing a wrap, put it on after getting out of the car.

When making your wedding entrance at the church the wedding processional music will start. It signals the start of your grand entrance.

Walk down the aisle, standing tall with a straight back, relaxed shoulders, stomach in and a smile on your face. This projects to your guests that you feel good and are confident about yourself. Practice this posture until it becomes second nature. Try to hold this while standing, sitting and walking.

Glide down the aisle, by taking overlapping steps rather than walking them side by side. Step with your heel first and follow with your sole, do this in a quick and smooth manner; this will give you an elegant walk.  Remember to walk with your toes pointed straight ahead. Try practicing all this for your bridal entrance, well before your wedding in your bridal shoes.

Carrying your bouquet correctly will make you look elegant and sophisticated. Hold your bouquet in both hands with it tilted forward at the hip while keeping your shoulders back. Then walk confidently down the aisle with your father, who has slipped his right arm through your left, in both hands with it tilted forward at the hip while keeping your shoulders back. Then walk confidently down the aisle with your father, who has slipped his right arm through your left.

Wedding Tip
#2

If you are on a tight budget use lots of greenery.

Greenery is inexpenvise and will make a great filler and you will use less flowers.

Try using potted plants and shrubs such a ficus trees which can be rented.

You may even have your own fake trees at home, or you could borrow from friends and family.

These will look charming when lit with tiny lights.
