Use these free printable
wedding invitations templates to make your own wedding invitations.
You can create a single free wedding invitation from a folded A4 (8
½ x 11 ¾ inch) sheet of paper. Use a paper weight
of 170 gsm to 220 gsm.
If you have a printer where the paper feeds from the front you may find
that it may not cope with the thicker paper so do a few test prints
with different paper weights before purchasing the quantity that you
will need to do all your invitations.
The use of different paper types will give you different results.
Experiment with various papers before you print out all your
invitations and when you are completely happy with the results print
out the rest.
I have printed these out onto 170 gsm glossy paper with very good
results.
For best results when you print these, adjust your printer settings
according to the paper type that you are using and don’t
forget to adjust your print quality to high.
How to Make Your Own Wedding Invitation
You will need Adobe PDF Reader to read these templates if you
don’t have the free Adobe PDF Reader you can get it
here.
- Print out the wedding invitation on your chosen
paper this is the outer cover. Trim the blank wedding invitation to
size. Leaving a small border around the edges when you trim to size
will frame the invitation nicely. Fold in half at the edge of the image.
- You will now have to print out your own wedding invitation wording with
some more paper. This paper can be white or contrasting to the paper
that you have printed your invitation cover on. When you have finished
trim down to size slightly smaller than the outer cover. You could use
decorative edging scissors, paper tear edgers, paper tear rulers to
make your invitations look unique.
- Glue or use scrap booking tape to bind your
invitation text block onto the inside of the invitation cover.

wedding invitation with a professional quality look that you can
proudly give out to family and friends.
